Valerie Kelley-Bonner; CPC-R 

Valerie Kelley-Bonner, is the lead consultant for Strategic Transitions Consulting (STC). For over 15 years, she  has been helping people reach their full potential through mentoring, empowerment coaching, career development and various life skills coaching programs. After the tragic loss of her mentor, who was her guiding light, and the inspiration behind her desire for entrepreneurship, she started Career Trends and Strategies in 1995 and later changed the name to Strategic Transitions Consulting LLC in 2005. Her mission is to implement leadership strategies that encourage, enlighten and empower individuals, stimulating positive personal change which leads to more productive lives. 
 

The wealth of experience gained while growing up in Inkster, Michigan gives her unique insight into practical challenges that individuals face. Mrs. Bonner has a degree in Math and Natural Science and Marketing. She is a certified HIV Prevention Specialist by the Michigan Department of Community Health, a Certified Prevention Consultant—Reciprocal (CPC-R), a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), and has several other certifications in different areas of expertise. She has volunteered for several community based organizations including the Salvation Army’s Project Break-Through, Literacy Volunteers of America– Detroit, Scientific Education Task Force for Youth, Pfizer Pharmaceutical’s Minority Internship Program and Community Outreach committee and is a member several professional organizations as well as the Kiwanis Club #1 of Detroit. She is an author and motivational speaker.
